With this year’s theme being Green Cities: Restoring Urban Waters, Philadelphia CitiesAlive 2011 offers delegates numerous opportunities to expand their knowledge of how the Green Roof and Wall industry can play an integral role in the revitalizing of urban water. Philadelphia is the place to explore this important topic and Green Roofs for Healthy Cities is very pleased to be working with the City of Philadelphia and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, our co-hosts for this years conference.
The Philadelphia Water Department has embarked on a multi-billion dollar green infrastructure plan to restore its community and its water over a 20-year period. Green City, Clean Waters envisions healthy watersheds while building a competitive, sustainable future for the City – a vision that is shared amongst City agencies, partner organizations and residents.
Philadelphia CitiesAlive 2011 will feature leading industry experts who will explore cutting-edge solutions, best practices, innovation in design and technology as they relate to the green roof and wall industry as it takes a leading role in bringing about Green Cities: Restoring Urban Water.
